Anyone taken their cars drifting before? Post up some footage!

Took my standard FG turbo ute out to the last morning drift sesion at Queensland Raceway. Trailered my actual drift car out with the ute which is my daily, and ended up using the ute instead.

Went surprisingly well for a completely standard car, they have heaps of useable lock. I think I might do some suspension mods and take it out again.

sh*t that's some good drifting! And everyone says you need a light car to drift properly lol.

Did those tyres on that second last corner worry you? I'd hate to rip the front bar off

Really keen to get out and drift my car but not finding many tracks that will let us do/that don't burn you alive! New track opening in western Sydney at the end of the year so might try hit that up a few times if I can

It'd be quite hard to control in an auto I'd imagine because you don't have a clutch to initiate/use to wash off speed. You'd be doing a power over start which would result in a lot of spin outs until you get the throttle control correct, you'd also be limited to corners only, no manji drifting or huge hand brake entries.

If someone goes out in an auto, proove me wrong! Make sure to post up some footage! Would like to see how it goes.
