Is the S2000/dunnydoor and civic in front of you (sub 1min 08secs as well) fairly special well setup track cars or just fast street cars? Big effort to be that fast dude

The S2000 from BYP is something special. Estimated 300+kw at wheels. 1200kg. It will compete in the World Time Attack at SMP later this year and will go close to taking out the top rwd spot in class. Most impressive thing of all was that it drove home.

It is stripped, supercharged and very loud!

They also have a Supercharged Integra that won the Open Class at both VIC Winton and NSW Wakefield with a flat 1min.

Same with that little Civic. 900kg, 300+hp off a trailer. Cant really compete with that!

The Late model camira was a full stripped race car off a trailer. V8 VZ I think. Just roll cage and seat interior. Pics of it will be up on the Circuit Club sight. It was set up to do a lot of laps where mine overheats within about 4 laps.

Looks like heaps of fun!!

Been at WP plenty of times on the bike but never in the ute

Wonder what I will be circulating around with a fairly stock ute with suspension upgrades??

I also wonder if lines will be the same as a bike?

Excellent pics Aaron!

Looking fwd to the next one.

Will be with a Race Seat, Light vented bonnet and rotated tyres.

Another quarter second and into the 7's!

Hopefully will get more xr6t's out there next time.

So using Harry's lap timer on my iPhone (which I will say is awesome and was as accurate as the natsoft timing), it recorded my best lap of the day as 1:15.15 but putting together my virtual best lap of my best two sectors of the day I could have had a 1:14.1!!!! Now that's the time I'm after next time. Make me think a 13 is doable without any more mods, just fresh brake fluid.

Well going on the above something like that I guess I have no idea lol. If you've got a bit of experience with bikes then you might have more balls and push harder lol. Btw I wouldn't go there without doing something to the brakes!! Stock fluid will end with your foot to the floor, from other ppl experience. I've got stock suspension atm but brakes u need at least fresh dot 5.1 fluid, mine was a year and two track days old so mine were fading near the end of the day. I've also got DBA 4000s up front and ebc blue and ebc red on the rears (destroyed a front pair of reds last yr so went the blue).

U should come out next time! But I don't think there'll be another meet till the weather cools down again next year, our turbos don't like the heat lol

fark that's fast, gotta have big ones to do that on a bike lol. You'll be quick in the xr since you know how to go fast around Wakefield already.
