What are people's recommendation on the necessity of the alignment tools. Looks like they are required. Would imagine only fraud would sell these?

Also without the brace how have people gone about lowering the IRS at home. Large blocks of wood cross braced and supported with the jack?

You can spray paint where the sub frame meets the chassis if ya want for a reference.. depends how careful u r I guess.

Can't comment on the next question as I usually have the car on the hoist and just lower the cradle down with a pallet and some chocks on an electric forklift.

But pretty much like you said have the car on stands as high as possible and lower the cradle on a jack somewhat.

Wouldn't be easy though manageable with 2 blokes.

Feck I should of checked this is the aligning just for the bolting it back up? As I've just dropped the subframe on the floor without reading how to do it. Forgot I asked and rage started after to many beers last night.

Crazyxa a jack underneath the centre support get the feck out the way and lower it down slowly while clenching is the proccess I used.
