I'm looking to mount a tablet somewhere that won't block any of the ICC buttons or view of the road to run Torque gaugesI've thought about using an exomount but it will block the front screen which I'd like to avoid. Im considering the tissue box holder but I haven't been able to find a mount that would suitPost up your pics please! I need ideas

It is a fraction too big but..

Not a bad effort though, just needs to relocate the buttons and I reckon it would be awesomehttp://www.mp3car.com/android-tablet/155516-galaxy-tab-2-in-2010-ford-falcon-xr6-australia.html?amp;goto=newpostthere's also a whole heap of mounts other than the usual suction cup mountRam Mount are made in the US and do seat bolt, suction and cup holder mountsRam Mount This one is similar to Ram Mount seat mount but for iPads only. Doesn't look as heavy duty as Ram Mount but foldableJoy Factory I was considering a 7" tablet mounted with one of these in the tissue box area but I'm reconsidering as the position is fixed and thinking of going a 10" tabletTetrax

vxr50t Member 134 Member For: 11y 8m 1d Posted 07/09/13 04:01 AM Author Share Posted 07/09/13 04:01 AM OK pics as promised. I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as well (wireless only) and I went with the Ram mount seat bolt rod mount with a 10" tablet holder. I was using it with Torque and Pandora but mostly Pandora lately as something is wreaking havoc with my sensorstheres more than enough legroom for the passenger but it restricts access to the station preset buttons for them which is actually a bonus in my book lolI'm also using a Telstra 3G Wireless Modem and BT remote for tracks / volume control. had to run a ground loop isolator for Aux as the line noise is terribleI try not to touch or use the tablet (change settings etc) while moving when driving as it's a massive distraction and can be quite dangerous. which is also why I bought the bt remote for skipping tracks on Pandora so if a cop pulls me over I can say I only ever use the remote to skip tracks, etc and GPS is set before driving away although I haven't been pulled over by a cop yet and I see a lot of them nearly every week. It's funny seeing peoples reactions on the road. a few people slow right down because they think I might be a cop (dark tints and extra screens)
