Not 100% effective but watch your decel fuel economy....a lot of tuners disable torque control in their tunes and therefore inadvertently disable the decel fuel cut. Does it read down to zero on a long deceleration?

ill have to confirm the next time I drive it but I have seen it go down to 1l per hour while decelerating.....

I seriously doubt its been tuned as it only boosts to 5-6 psi sometimes 8-9 but boost cut kicks in staight away....that's due to a 8PSI actuator that I have dicovered and changeing very soon.

June 28, 2013 - FORScan version 2.1.0 beta2 is released

Fixed first errors found by users but not by us

June 28, 2013 - FORScan version 2.1.0 beta is released

The version has important new functionality like first active test, first service procedure, support of STN1170 chipset. Besides, vehicle database is updated in this version - now it is relevant at the June 2013.

Note: please always remove your vehicle profile (Section "Vehicle and interface information" -> Profiles) before using any new version. Otherwise, old vehicle configuration is loaded and you may not see new modules, PIDs etc (if they are added in the new version).

Do you guys use a laptop or tablet in car to run the program?

I would liketo use something like this while driving instead of getting gauges.

The issue I have is that a 10" tablet in the car is a bit hard to have fitted on top of the dash.

masda74, a decent size screen smartphone or ~7" tablet and the Torque Pro app is much better for gauges and logging on the go.

Cool, that is what I have at the moment. I am running the free version of torque, but I am contemplating getting the paid version.

However that being said, would it be benificial to have a program like this on a tablet to get specific info that torque cannot get?

torque app looks awesome on a tablet, but even on a phone its great for live and quick logging on the fly, I prefer it over livelink for the ease and speed to set up.

What's new in FORScan

July 5, 2013 - FORScan version 2.1.1 beta is released

Mainly bugfix and improvements of the existing functionality.

Note: please always remove your vehicle profile (Section "Vehicle and interface information" -> Profiles) before using any new version. Otherwise, old vehicle configuration is loaded and you may not see new modules, PIDs etc (if they are added in the new version).

  • Focus/CMax Mk3 1.6/2.0 TDCi, 1.0/1.6/2.0 GTDI, 1.6 Duratec VCT, 2.0 GDI 2011 model year
  • Fiesta Mk6 1.4/1.5 TDCi, 1.25/1.4/1.5/1.6 Duratec/VCT, 1.0 GTDI 2008, 2013 model year
  • B-Max 1.4/1.6 Duratect/VCT, 1.0 GTDI 2012 model year

    * Reset KAM service function is renamed to Reset All Adaptations which is generally more correct
    - Incorrect selftest run, when no error is returned but the test is finished too quickly
    - Crash when user clicks Start when Tests or Service list is empty
    - Communication issue in case of NO DATA from ELM (bug appeared in 2.1.0)
    - Bug with unlimited number of PIDs in a PID profile. User could create a profile with any number of PID. But a FSL file saved with such profile could not be opened. Now it behaves vice versa: doesn't allow to save more than 30 pid in a PIDs profile, but allows to open FSL files with any number of PIDs (to provide compatibility with files saved previously).
