After the news of Fords intention to Close production of local Falcons by 2016... does anyone else see the opportunity to shelve your xr turbos & wait for the value to escalate?? The thought of no more value for money Falcon turbos on the market really disappoints. To a slightly less degree...but just like the gtho.. I can see buyers...years down the track rushing to pay great coin to buy another once iconic great performing Aussie sports sedan which is no longer available & in short supply. What do you guys think??

I think I'll keep mine, drive it loads and repair it as I have to. All I hope is the engine never pops so it stays original (mods notwithstanding).

Don't shelve it, you bought it to drive so just drive it

I doubt the value will go up, there are plenty of these cars around

The one you have will be worth nothing...buy another don't register it, store it in the garage..

25years time bring it out. Be plenty of engines available, just buy a N/A motor.. Of just buy 3 or 4 now and put those in corner of Garage.
