There seem to be plenty of these for sale now http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/fuel-systems/auction-598123382.htm. Might solve the 044 noise issue some people are reporting. Interesting idea having the pump submerged in the fuel. Makes for easier pickup and a more compact job I suppose. I wonder if there would be any heat issues? Not much different to an intank pump really...

They also do a double.

I hadn't seen that. Looks good :)

The PW one is a little more expensive but would be worth it if you can afford it.

I run a surge tank that's about that size. Seems to be big enough. It's always being filled by the intank pump and only ever starts to drain if there is no fuel coming from there. The intank system also has a small reservoir which must drain for that to happen before it can even start to drain the surge tank. I regularly run my tank on vapour and give it a bootfull with no ill effects.

I don't go racing so I can't comment on that sort of usage.
