Hey there, has anyone used or have a bluetooth live scan tool? It plugs into the OBD2 port and sends live info and fault codes etc via bluetooth to an app installed on your mobile. Would like to hear some comments and feedback if anyone has used one. Thanks

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have been thinking about getting one as well.

The only issue with the cheaper ebay ones is that you can not leave them plugged in as they will drai your battery.

I have been tninking about getting this one:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OBDLink-MX-Bluetooth-OBD-II-2-Scan-Tool-Worlds-Fastest-Smallest-OBD-2-Android-/160885382351?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item2575841ccf&_uhb=1

It co es from america, but is is really small and should fit in the fuse box compartment with the cover on.

But the is also this one:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-ELM327-Bluetooth-OBD2-Software-Licence-BA-BF-FG-Falcon-Diagnostic-Scanner-/150841577225?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item231edbcf09&_uhb=1

I am not sure if this one will fit in the fuse box compartment with the cover on.

Howitzer85, what sort of info are you able to get? Are you able to get boost readings or do I need gauges for this?

I received the super mini ELM327 on ebay from Kogarah today. It will not communicate with ECU. The torque app has a note when configuring, that some users have had problems with this device communicating with ford ecu.

Also, even the super mini one is not small enough to fit behind the fuse panel.

Albert, you can easly unclip the obd port from the fuse box. I have mine hanging in the fuse box compartment.
