Im sad.

What does this mean for the value of our cars

That's a good question. Could go both ways I reckon. If you use the Mitsubishi 380 example then arrghh - burn it now! Or, maybe the performance models may hold. I think povo pack falcons will get raped like the 380 did. People will start worrying about parts etc. Perception is all it will take to kill resale values.

I never planned to sell my T and I still don't, resale be damned - it's nearly paid off hahaha.

Would like to have a BF Phoon though.

lets clarify- ford australia is closing- not ford?

Closing off all production in Oz - Sales/Servicing yards will remain for the Mondeo's, Fiesta's etc (plus whatever else they decide to bring into the country). Just no more Falcons/Territories.

I think it will still be Ford Australia?

The difference with mitsi is that they genuinely had a sh*t product and resale on all their cars was rock bottom. Just remember the diamante. Could pick up a.2 yr old diamante for quarter the price of new. Did unsee any die hard mitsi fans out there...... very very few

I would hope the demand for the performance and higher spec falcon stays alive. I am in love with the 6t engine. Its just beautiful. Just hate the clunky rear end.
