Not sure if I will meet people in Canberra or Jyndabine on Sunday. Not sure if SWMBO and rug rats will come as well. Looking at this post I'm not sure about much. I will speak to the boss and post confirmation closer to the event. One thing I do know because I live around here is that the route that you have picked is a great drive. Becomes really, really interesting with snow as well.

I have now fittecd the whiteline sway bars to the car (thanks Flachoon0 and while not quite rex like (my old one anyway) it is a good bit firmer in ride quality and body roll. Mrs CUL08R likes too. And my dad drove it on the weekend, and loved it. First drive of a T for him. CUL08R

So are you coming or not?And I dont know if Tumut could handle the excitement of seeing a line of colourful (except HgAg) cars come through. The residents would go crazy. We'd be arrested for disturbing the peace. Best to steer clear of Tumut I think.

Mobile coverage is a bit patchy around the back of the range, and it will be easy to stay in contact.I wont be mapping this drive out as thoroughly as the last one I did (KM waypoints for turns etc) so communications will be handy. There will be maps, and it will be quite easy to keep the group together as there is little traffic to disrupt a line of 20 cars.I know a lot of people have a UHF already, those that dont can you try to borrow one, or even pick up a cheap hand held. Cro used to be able to get very good prices from a local supplier so it may be worth asking.
