Started and ran really nice.Took it for a drive ran fine. Stalled at set of lights, but was fine after that and along the hiway. On the way home stalled again at lights and stalled several times in the drive-way.After it stalls, the engine light flashes 3 times ( not sure if that means anything).Any ideas?CheersIan

Checked codes and found 2.P1386 Variable Cam Timing Overadvanced (Bank #2) P1388 Variable Cam Timing Overretarded (Bank #2) Ended up unplugging the power steering switch.. Runs really nice now, but engine light has come back on after a while with the same 2 codes but still running fine.Check Cam phasors next?

Huz88 Member 13 Member For: 12y 8m 18d Posted 27/05/13 11:51 AM Author Share Posted 27/05/13 11:51 AM Thanks guys. Checked timing, definately not out. No crap in the phaser oil gallerys or filters etc swapped phasers to see if it shifted the problem to inlet side.. Code came up once on the weekend when it was cold (retarded exhaust side) . Cleared it and hasnt come back up since..Sounds like it might be worth checking the cam caps though.Anyway of telling if they're in the wrong spots?
