Anybody out there who has fitted a FP9042:

To a manual car? Specs say auto only. Aerpro say its because the manual shifter surround is longer and fouls the bottom section. Keen to see if anybody has modded one to fit a manual and has pics?

cheers

paint it black

I have it on good authority that this is not 100% certified unlike mine and thus you will encounter endless firmware related crashes.

I have various types of hand saw, leave your car outside and I'll take care of the fitting.

Might even break in your clutch for you, no charge!

Seriously though...diff bush.

Don't be all jealous just because my fuel system has its own heat exchanger.

Seriously though is it claimed to be an 'issue' to fit or when in use? I'm certain I've seen one in a manual but fcks me whose car it was.

...must have been ages ago as I thought they had phased-out the old tractor gearboxes.

Needs more diff bush otherwise it will fall out with diff clunk, half shafts wouldn't cope with the extra power from the sound system, needs forged pistons to take the extra pound(ing) from the subwoofer, and the clutch won't take the extra weight of a head unit.

Actually needs more clearance between shifter surround and facia.

Have measured, won't fit. Thanks for nothing you bunch of highway loving egg lickers.
