I'm not sure of the leagal limit, however your dealer should be able to give you the spec on the brand they use. They usually only have one type, so if you want darker tint then do it after market. I should not void any warranty but will affect road worthiness and void insurance if above legal limit.Be aware that the rear window MUST NOT have metalised film as it affects the radio reception due to in glass antenna. But yes the dealer should know about this. A few companies including Ford's Sentry Tint have made special BA tinting. This is a bit extra but good quality.
