I spoke with an upholsterer and he said they can rectify it with "pretty much the same leather" for a couple of hundred bucks. I have also gotten some cracks in the seat where you slide into it on the driver's side, around where the tag saying "SRS AIRBAG" and this is one of the things that can't be avoided, apparently.
