No matter the final outcome,

I will never again own a Ford nor will I own my car for a period of time longer than it takes me to sell it or burn it.

Needless to say that after the experience of the past 7 days and before that the previous 6 occasions my car has been back to service, I will not be fobbed off by the morons in either the dealer or the customer care.

Goodbye ford, If you expect loyalty from a 25 year ford supporter, you've got buckley's, it's lost along with your customer service abilities.

Any intererest in 2 polls:

1. Satisfaction poll

2. Common faults poll

We could send results to Ford and await their response. If unsatisfactory, we could send to media.

If you don't agree, don't crucify me as I am trying to put forward some proactive suggestions

You do realise you are the minority don't you?

We have dozens of unhappy T owners here on the forum, but thousands have been sold and we have thousands of members. Sounds like you got a bad apple, get rid of it, get a new one, and join the rest of us enjoying an awesome car?

EVERY manufacturer has bad apples!

I could always sell you a bike!

I've dealt with all 3 dealers in Canberra as a private sale and as a fleet manager.

I have only swapped a vehicle at Woden - no probs (you would hope not - just swapping a car!)

I have picked up cars - and had repairs at Belco - only prob was them losing a set of keys for a good half hour while I had to wait.

Most of my dealings - as a worker and an individual have been at Gregory's. Most of my dealings there have been great - after being advised how bad they were I was surprised in the service I received by the staff. Unfortunataly - the boss rocked up with a urgent prob is was asked "What's your problem mate?" - - not really what a 55 year old bloke wants to be asked when his $60k car is dead.

Yes of course I know that I am the apparent Minority,

What does this prove?

The problem exists, It can't and hasn't been fixed. Ford will not deal with the problem on a rational level and continues to insist on the various levels that You need to speak with X, or I don't have authority to do Y, you need to speak with Z, that's not my department you need to speak with X.

Congratulations on your Turbo, I am glad that it is ok for you.

WHen you have a collection of 3500 members all of whom have or have an interest in the car the site represents of course you will get some who have problems, I am one of them.

So go and enjoy your perfect car.

I will post my feelings here, and make sure that any Ford employee or manager who just may read these forums, and I know of three that do who aren't members, they may just understand how passionate people are about their cars and their faults if any.

I'm with you Cameron! Yes, those who dare criticise a falcon here, tend not to be tollerated by all and yes they are in the minority!

But, that is not the point. Here are some subjective observations?

1. Almost everyone here has had a few problems

2. A surprising high number of people here have had saftey or reliability problems.

3. All the faults raised are across a number of vehicles, indicating that it is not a "lemon" issue, rather a design fault / manufacturing fault / service fault.

It is fair to say from what I've read here that:

a) There are some dyed in the wool supporters of Ford that will cop anything - lol

B) There are other people who bought because of the on paper specs and have now "had enough of this"

I am sincerely sorry that you have a sh!tty car, no matter what make or model it is....

That anyone these days buys a car, and parts with hard earned cash to put up with the frustration and bullsh!t that you have is a sad state of affairs.

I hope that things turn around for you soon and that for every sh!tty thing that has happened, I hope an awesomely great thing happens....

I hope you keep smiling, and that you remember that it will not last forever, nothing is static, something will change, whether it be you change it for yourself or not.

The corner will be turned, the wheels will spin, and you will move ahead... it will happen!!!

In the meantime, all of us are here to support you when you have that much needed vent... that's what friends are for!

:)
