So this leads me to a question, I have a stock intercooler currently, if I upgraded to a PW stage 2 intercooler could I expect a similar response and performance when the weather warms up? I know the overall HP can be increased with a retune, but its that reponsive low down torque that really interests me. On a hot day the intercooler cant cool the air any cooler than ambient temps, so it will never be the same as a winters day.. It will improve heat soak and generally perform be better than your stock cooler, but its not a 'fridge' so to speak.. 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84940-winter-performance/#findComment-1389856 Share on other sites
