Well that was a big surprise...

Took my BF XR6 auto turbo ute down the drags tonight

Quickest run was a 14.022 at 164kph reaction time 0.400

Current mods are: F6 typhoon intercooler, stage 2 chip n tune....

Needs and exhaust, dump pipe, fuel pump, injectors .....

Quick question :D

: what's the max boost you can run threw the 2005 BF XR6 turbo ?

Also Will be purchasing a boost controller soonpost-64390-0-59277800-1368630143_thumb.j

'05 bottom end isn't the strong BF bottom end.

Intercooler will hold you to around 300rwkw. You can get away with just a cat (dump if you really want to) at this point as the rest of your exhaust won't hold you back yet.

Look at valve springs too if you haven't already.

What size injectors are you looking to buy?

Oh ok .. Things you learn after you buy a cheap bargain :/

It has a F6 typhoon 1 allready or do you mean bigger again ? Yeh that was my next question... What's the story with the dumper ? Heard people putting up to 4inch on the dump...

Yeh I might actually look into the valve springs. The rev limiter has been taken out by previous owner

Was thinking upgrade 2x sizes up, still maintain fuel economy and utilize more power..

Main goal is to achieve max performance out of a stock looking + sounding work ute, have been told overboost in Perth are the blokes to see about XR6 turbo mods.. Has anyone on here been there before ?

Cheers for your help velocity !
