Don't let Vik unsettle you there sbr, I think he got the bull by the tit there somewhere.

I'm sure there are a few of the Qld members nodding in agreeance with your comment on the "other" club, and I highly doubt that any offence would have been taken.

But anyway, welcome to the mad house, and hope to see you at our next little outing.

Trent

Well have had it for a week and about 800ks. It is nice and comfy and plenty of leg room for the kids in the back. Handling needs to be tightened up a bit and feels heavy but hey when you get out of a rex it is understandable. It drives well but does have the clunk in the drive line but only if you stuff the gear changes up a bit. Happy with the power , it does haul when you put the boot in.I think a set of shocks and sway bars will be all I do. The exhaust note aint bad for a standard system. So over all have to say I'm quite happy with her and looking forward to some spirited driving on some back roads to enjoy her potential. And I love this site.

When I walk to where the car is parked, I stop and look at it.

When I park the car, I can't help but turn around and look at it.

I look forward to a drive and drive for no other reason than to drive.

Am I happy?

Hell yes.

I must say I agree, I have had it nearly nine weeks now, 8500km, not a single moment I have not loved driving it.

I park it straight outside my office and look at it through the day, at home I go to the front of the house and stand and look at it, my wife caught me the other day and accused me of loving ther ute more thab her :spoton: .

The Ute cost less to run I know that.

I drive it for the simple pleasure of driving it, I live out of town, so most of the roads I drive are 100kph counrty roads, with bends and dips and hills and corners and no pedestrians, or push bikes, or taxis or traffic lights.

Just me and my T.

I LOVE IT.

Yeah haa, 100 posts for me :spoton:

Mate they are a great car for the money!!

The only gripe I have is the boot & cabin space, when you've got a family of four you notice the difference coming from a Holden!

You'd think they'd flatten out the boot !!

My car is only a BA Fairmont (no Turbo rush) but I still love it. Its so good to drive and it looks the goods too. Plus it has enough stick for an NA 6, even if it not fast on paper it does move for a 1700kg car!

I love it!!
