After 55,000km and 18 months.. Still more than happy / best car I have ever owned. Yeh I got some small issues, but all in all.. Get in, turn the key, nail the go pedal to the floor, and I remember why I bought it...

When I set on the gas and take my foot off she gives of a flutter. GOD I love that sound.

The Expensive Daewoo boys are pulling up beside me all the time, but I'll just wait until the times right. Then BAM XR dust!

Having just got my car back after 3 weeks off the road (self-induced repairs ) I must say that I am in love all over again.

I only have the XR6 n/a and I am 25 years old, so for me this is my first brand new car, and I would never have dreamed it could be so pleasurable. I have never wanted people to look at me before but when I'm in my car I want them to look at the car, and admire it. I bet a few men out there have been hit by their wives at the red lights , asking if they can have one too. I did see it once, but I think they went and got one, coz I am sure that same couple not 1 month later parked next to me at the shops near by in a beautiful Silver XR6Turbo, they must have had an extra few dollars that I didn't to get the turbo. I even talked my hairdresser into buying a XR6t, and she absolutely loves it.

Well all I can say is good to know you guys love your cars so much. Seems the guys in the XR6 XR8 club of Queensland only love themselves, well not all of them but most.

I was giving a big wrap to the members of this forum and club. I looked aat a lot o threads in here and love the way peoples opinions are respected, even if they differ from everyone elses. I really respect people open minded enough to accept other peoples views, like you guys have shown. well done. and please don't think I was starting anything with anyone. I just want to be able to love my XR and express my opinions with other people

I'm sure there are a few of the Qld members nodding in agreeance with your comment on the "other" club, and I highly doubt that any offence would have been taken.
