Your right pat ive had to adjust the spring slac twice in two months. Does king springs make a stiffer spring for the front?.

So to put all the so called experts at ease,

Today I fitted the Nolathane front diff bushes to the TTG. The bushes cost me about $130 from eBay and took 2 hours to fit in my driveway. Only special tool you need is a air hacksaw to cut the original rubber bush shell in half to remove it. (although I already had the compressor and rattle gun etc to make life easier)

Cutting the old shell out is a bit of a bitch, but once you do the first one, the second one is easier cos you know the easiest way to get it out. You can see the instructions on the Nolathane website yourself.

Now there is absolutely NO more noise or vibration from the harder bushes and considering they have a lifetime warranty then got to be happy with that.

So if you like to work on your own vehicles or don't trust "rip off" mechanics like I do, then its easy to do, but if your not mechanically minded then you might be stuck....

umm not sure who the "so called experts" line is aimed at, buy FYI, Senna aka pat, is a expert. Its his profession. and he's fcuking good at it.

I'll believe him before I believe anyone else specialising in the same field. And im sure a lot of other members on here will do the same.

terra88 - I'm glad you have had no issues with your install, please keep us informed as to the longevity. Nolathane's new part number may be a good option if they last.

fitted the Nolathane front bushes yesterday about 2 hours not overly hard. no vibration at all no difference at all. as for balance issuses with the forward shaft I cannot see how you would get any and as for balance would think more a tyre problem as it is a complete assy drive shaft hub brake and wheel. not sure if the way the original bushings are timed or not however I placed them in the same position as they came out. if you where to place the original type press bushing in I can see the length of time it would take to install and the cost involved in carrying out that job. and before anyone says about balancing I am an aircraft engineer and balance aircraft props and helicopter main and tail rotors using specialized balancing tooling far more technical than found in your local car workshop down to less than a gram. the test will be at the end of the week will have a 1500km drive down south via country queensland and nsw roads.

best thing about the Nolathane bushes is all you need to remove is the wheel and diff bushings and attach bolts I didn't remove brake rotor or calliper therefore nothing was disturbed in the drive train at all.
