Took off briskly, with TC on in D Performance Mode. At about 3500rpm in 1st, I floored it, she hits 2nd then faark me!, the ass end cuts right, cuts left, I over correct, it cuts further out right, oooh sh*t!!... by now I've totally backed off and somehow she straightened up and my heart started to beat again. Parked cars to the left and some shocked onlookers sitting in traffic at the lights facing me on the right.Sitting at home now and I still don't know wtf happened. Any ideas or comments? And yes I can't drive for sh*t lol. "riptide" used the term in a previous post and I can totally relate. And yes I had to change the undies when I got home. Just picture a car fish tailing out of control with a scared rookie at the wheel and hands flying everywhere On 13/05/2013 at 12:22 PM, sct911 said: need new tyres? There is plenty of tread left but I've never been happy with the factory Dunlops. Even with my small mods, they break traction quite easily in 2nd. It just happened so fast this time and really kicked out. Also I rarely mash the pedal to the floor and I think it caught me off guard. They are that sh*t I'm certain Dumlot paid Ford to fit the fcking things.Replace them with something half the price and you'll be amazed. Also your TC/DSC is designed to work at factory power levels, if you think you need to rely on it then a low boost tune for daily driving might be wise.
