hey had me car tuned the other day and had some issues with holding boost at top end I cleaned out my boost solinoid, took my front bar off and checked for leaks, my 12psi actuator is less than 10,000ks old and valve springs were installed the day prior to being on the dyno

any other suggestions why im not making boost up top?

btw my previous tune was running 18psi all the way to redline but with the new tune it now spikes to 18 then drops to 15

Don't use an eboost if you don't need to. In this case, you don't need to.

What cat? Have you taken out and checked it?

Tried a different actuator?

Checked inlet manifold for leaks?

Checked there's no bolts missing around exhaust manifold or turbo?

sometimes a tuner will pull boost if its not needed to make the power especially when iat's are starting to go up and up... others ignore it and hand you back the grenade.

Sounds like you have a better tuner now.. did he say something might be wrong with the car or talk about getting a better cooler?

ok im back my exhaust seem tight but I managed to get a few turns on 4 bolts on the lower inlet where it bolts to the head. my tuner said for the life of him he couldnt screw any more boost threw it so he was clearly trying to get those power figures for me but something was wrong. I got a plazy 1200 cooler so im sure its not suffocating

12 Psi actuator is your restriction. Swap it out for a 15+
