A Territory turbo would be interesting, though, perhaps with an XR6 style bodykit as well, but I guess to retain XR6T resale values, it'd have to be slightly de-tuned...

I'm surprised there isn't an FPV vehicle with an enhanced turbo 6 in it, with the XR8 gearbox, and ~260-270kw, maybe with a bigger intercooler and tuned for PULP (more boost), that'd be cool :)

The Territory would be "de tuned" by comparisson as it is noticably heavier that the "T". Also I thought the "T" was already "tuned" for PULP in that it can run on PULP and the ECU adapts to the higher octane

a fairmont ghia with a standard turbo 6 would be better than a fairmont turbo because fairmont means luxury and ghia means sports luxury. and you would still need 50 odd grand to get a turbo engine.

Personally, I believe the Ghia with the Boss 260 V8 is more likely than the turbo six...

Add 30Kw to that suggestion and we could call it a GT?

Price difference between GT and Ghia? Would it be worth putting the 4 Valve in?

A turbo Territory definately and maybe on a Fairmont Ghia, and that's only if the barra220 gets a power hike to 230kw so then a detuned (exhaust) turbo option on the Fairmont Ghia has 220kw.

XR6T Territory, yes.

XR6T Territory Ute, hell yes! ;)

I agree with this.

I say NO.

Like the GT's you have a unique car and as soon as you offer the motor into the other ranges then in my eyes you no longer have a cult car & just an average falcon with a slight face lift. I would rather then get a standard falcon with the turbo motor. Seriously just the XR range ONLY.

Also the votes posted as FOR the turbo motor being on the XT probably can't afford a XRT.

Of all models , if it goes into the Xt standard Falcon it will destroy all the good will that has been generated. Simply put for the XT Falcon, for the person that decides this in Ford should be hung.

If it deos happen we should all bombard Ford towake them from their stupid dream.

I am going off topic a bit here, but I think the LWB fairlaine G220 would be nice if it were badged FPV, had a bodykit, 18's that would be nice. Maybe if it were offered in the turbo as well.

G220 IMO is not really much of a sports car.

I think that the turbo engine should be only available to sports models. EG. XR, FPV.

Turbo just yells "sports car".

As was said earlier, XT and fairmont have barra 220, no need for turbo in them.

Also I voted yes for XR6T wagon. There is prolly so many guys who want an XR6T but have 1 too many kids to fit in it! :D So that is where an XR6 wagon would come in handy.

Ah well.... over typing.....
