Finally got a decent ride on the busa today. I was waiting to get a longer front brake line from the wrecker to suit the new handlebar and then remembered I had one buried in the parts pile !! Winning!!

Almost bought one (probably the exact model)

Dealer tried real hard not to sell me one and succeeded :S

I wanted pipes, tank bag and panniers - new bike - ongoing servicing with him - he didn't think it was worth looking up prices for me - his loss, Kwakkas gain

Handlebar swap for looks or comfort?

Probably comfort.

Ive gotta change mine when I get it going. The flat bars are too low and wide. I prefer the renthal fatbar bend.

Bcb I love 2 strokes also. Never owned one but I've had the opportunity to ride a race tuned cr250 early 2000's model. Insane was how I'd describe it. Had enough balls to lift the front with me on it (135kg at the time) so in my books it was quick.

I had one of those zx6's like yours. Learned to ride on it actually.

That sounds like Viagra to a Kat lover.

RD250LC is where it was at :)

Reed valves and the twin discs off the 350 and I was laughing at all the squids on their RGV's :)

after owning a heavy old Katana, then going to a RG 500 they were like chalk and cheese.

both had a top end of 240 kph but power delivery was oh so different.

put a pillion on the RG, and it would wheelie in almost every gear!!!!

The RZ 500 was not quite as agile as the RG, but that V4 had a beautiful note and feel.

When I bought the RG, Suzuki had just released the GSXR 750.

The world motorcycle press was going nuts over the 750 and I nearly bought it over the 500, so glad I didn't

here's a quick review RG vs RZ
