Heres a pic of a pic from me on my 600 back in 99. Seen a few bikes at the auctions and they're going cheap, been on my mind a lot recently. Turbo cbr1000 would be so tasty.

Go Miller - 1st 2 laps in the lead with Marquez in 4th (where he needs to be for Miller to take out the championship)

Will probably change a couple of dozen times before the flag though

edit: deleted for spoilers for anyone watching later (not live)

Will be watching for Rossi to tie up 2nd spot in the championship later

Sold my bike yesterday. Fair bit if sentimentality wrapped in that bike that I didn't realise until now...was my first big bike, first new vehicle and it was a bloody awesome bike! Still, I only ride it once in the last 6 months, which is pitiful. New owner sent me a text today saying how awesome he thought it was, hope he gets as much enjoyment from it as I did.

Am thinking of selling mine. Can't see myself getting out much for a long time.

I know as soon as I do though I'll be kicking myself and looking for an excuse to get another.

Good for you Stripes.

You'll get over it and the right time for another bike might come up later.

Its not right having a new bike sitting there unused and just depreciating in value.

You did the right thing.

I'm in the same boat with my wife's ninja 650L.

She always come up with reasons not to ride it, but it's two years old and has only 2500ks on it.

But I don't think she can bring herself to let me sell it though.

But it does look good in the bike room.

Thanks Phil, it was the right thing to do. Money went straight off the GT, only owe $17k on her now (which I'm pretty happy with since I only got it in April!). The bike looked awesome next to the GT though, I've gotta admit, but as you say, was the right time to get rid of it. Mum's pretty stoked haha.

Not looking to get another bike anytime soon really, would go for something a little more comfortable next time though I think. The 675R was great though the twisties but got pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly commuting.

Motards have the most grin like an idiot stuff of any bike I've ever owned.
