Hahaha yeah we did well.

Set the National Record for DD comp bike too which they failed to mention.

Racing in Radelaide this weekend in the grand final for the Summit series. Unfortunately there's not enough entries to run a comp bike round so we're running in modified bike instead.

The forecast looks okay on the BOM site. Bit of rain Wednesday or Thursday and then just cold.

Cross winds are not fun though.

We're only running mod bike so I'm just in it for the lols now.

And maybe the BB/MB record.

We've raced Calder, WSID and AIR these last 2 years, guess which track has had the best surface? and no it wasn't WSID...

Yep, cant really blame the 2 promoters that have tried to make it feasible pulling the plug.

The infrastructure (apart from the actual surface and the timing) hasn't had any money spent on it by the owner in decades, owner charges a fortune to open the gates, then when something goes wrong, the promoter gets their arse torn to shreds by the keyboard warrior's that aren't even racing let alone the racer who expects the pricing to be what it was in 1998...

Not to mention the personal outlay to put on the event and then hope it at least breaks even.

Then throw in the IHRA vs ANDRA sh*t fight for good measure to spice things up!!

Tailem bend should be killer if it lives up to what they are saying, having travelled to every state (other than WA) , travelling 1.5hrs up a multilane freeway to race on a world class surface will be epic.

I highly doubt it will see any drag racing there before 2019 though, lets be realistic, its South Australia where a simple bridge take 3 years to build.

In other news, Swan Hill raceway will be granted a 500K present from the local council latter this year to fix that cock up aswell..

Picked up the bike this morning from having the "rat eaten loom" fixed and the bike serviced etc.

Once I catchup on the work and sleep I missed over the weekend I'll be out for a ride :)

Felt good to be back on the bike - even just the short ride back to the office from the shop.

me and Mrs Bloodycrashboy went for a ride up on the tablelands  today with a couple of good friends.

The summer heat has finally abated and a relative coolness has been here over the last week.

We did get a bit rained on but feeling cold was a much welcomed phenomenon
