So here's a couple of runs from yesterdays test and tune with slow mo at the start.

The bike is making about 9psi on the two step. So I'm probably throwing about 280hp at the start line.

The thing is now a complete animal to ride and I had a few hairy moments yesterday. Twice in a row, at about 2/3rd track, I had to get out of it because for the first time ever, I thought it was going to hurt me. The rear end was waving all over the place at somewhere around 200 or so.

So today I added about two inches to the wheelbase with a longer chain and this weekend I'll raise the wheelie bar a little more.

So far its only running at 15psi out of 20 and on the only clean pass I had, I left with only 5psi and made 11psi in all the gears and still managed an 8.69. Just over a tenth off PB.

The Motorplex are talking about including a couple of Nitro Harleys and 650HP Kawasaki Top Bike into our class for this Saturday because of low entry numbers. Let's hope so because those things are insane to race against!

This next run started off out of control, and things went downhill from there.

Normally I'm up around that but with all the shenanigans going on, I was only getting into the high 240s.

Best MPH so far is 161mph which is around 265. But have more power now so maybe later in the season I can knock that off.

Interestingly, theres a guy on stock tuned BMW S1000R running up around those speeds but with higher ETs of course. Those things are fast! But he's only probably 65kgs geared up, and can ride!

His bike just ate the crankshaft though :(

S1000R...as in the naked version? Or the S1000RR? I would LOVE one of the S100R's...they're awesome, plus the more minimal fairings makes the asymmetry less obvious.

Either way though, solid effort Phil! Looking forward to seeing how you go throughout the season as you start getting the new setup sorted and dialed in.

LOL at your cameraman laughing at you baking the tyre off the line.

That looks like an insane ride.
