My guess Rab would the oil sloshing to back of the motor/sump because of the hard acceleration

Same thing probably happens to his brain and internal organs when your strapped to something that fast

Yeah its only on the launch where oil runs to the back of the sump. Which obviously wouldn't show up on the dyno.

Only way to test it is on the track.

I fitted a baffle to stop the oil surge but it didnt work.

Dry sump is a definate fix but just the dry sump system and pump set up alone is $2k. Then there's getting a tank made and finding somewhere to put it as well as hosing etc.

My budget isnt ready for that.

So its a billet sump and swinging pick up with the baffle for me.

Ryan schnitz in the US uses this setup and runs into the sixes at 200mph plus with a 1.10 sixty. So it should do me fine....I hope.

How's this for fast.

Ordered a new billet oil pan and swinging pick up from Schnitz Racing last week.

They shipped it last Thursday night (our time) from Decatur, Indiana, and it was on my desk by 9.30am this morning (Monday) !

UPS must use a fkn Tardis for shipping !

I highly recommend Schnitz Racing for proper go fast parts.

Mmmmm billet....

Motor back in and the reassembly of all the rest is progressing at my usual snail's pace.

But it'll fire up today.

The new flat bottomed billet oil pan made it super easy to jack the motor back into place, which is lucky as I had to jack it in and out a couple of times.

Im redoing the turbo oil line return into the oil pan and I'm slightly worried that the return may not flow enough back from the turbo.

But I wont really know till it's at full noise and smokes out of the turbo, or not.

Race meeting this Friday.

Any suggestions on where to get quality brake rotors from?

Im upgrading my lines to braided, will be putting new pads in, and thought I might upgrade the rotors too.

I realize that good brakes arent cheap, I spent nearly 10K upgrading the brakes on my car, and I love the brakes on that car.......

Take a look at moto mummy in Texas USA.

I bought chain & sprockets and a chain breaker, delivered to the door for the price of a chain and front sprocket here.

They have a good range of disc rotors and other goodies
