The car looks clean when I wash it but as soon as it drys the bug guts re-appear. What product do people reccommend me use to remove said bug guts? Car costs $50K and you need $100K worth of cleaning gear to keep it looking scmick.
Guest Scootre Guests Posted 13/01/04 07:41 AM Share Posted 13/01/04 07:41 AM (edited) There are products around called "bug and tar remover". Don't know how good they are though. The old way for removing both road tar and bug guts was to use kerosene on a rag.Does anyone know if kero onto modern clearcoat is a problem? I'd imagine that it wouldn't be good if you had Ming protection or something like that.. Edited 13/01/04 07:41 AM by Scootre

If you don't mind rewaxing your car, go for it but I am still looking for a better solution.

That's a bit harsh but now come to think of it, you may be right...... yeah, I can see the similarity.Good thinking.
