Thanks for all the replies and advice so far. Here's a pic of the car. Completely standard at the moment, but I've also included a possible way to go.

leave it standard looking, get it tuned up, run drag radials on the rear. Go out and hurt lots of feelings.

This!!! If my car gets rear ended I'd love to transplant the donk into something out of left field.

I have a complete BA falcon XR6 turbo with 150000kms on it that I will let go for $4k.Its still registed and in good nick apart from some cosmetic things like the hood lining sagging and a dodgy window rubber.Would make some good parts possibly?
