andrewkerr Member 30 Member For: 12y 1m 3d Posted 02/05/13 08:52 AM Share Posted 02/05/13 08:52 AM I have a issue with my xr6 turbo sometimes when driving and it is building boost it feels like it is surging and looking at the boost gauge its going from 12 to 5 and sort of bounces in between (I thought it might be bleeding off boost ) but sometimes it will not do it and will just boost could this be due to the stock wastegate actuator.the car has had cams changed,1000cc injectors,walbro pump upgrade and upgraded valve springs and had a custom vcm tune .could it be that wastegate actuator and I am not sure if its been happening since I have changed to a 4 inch intake and plazmaman air box .any ideas what it could be or just take it and get someone to look at it just would be good to know what it could be so I can fix myself or at least tell someone what it is so I can save some time and $$$ diagnosing what it is Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
