Whoever makes them must have built a bad batch. If you want a quiet reliable car in my opinion I would go for the Fairmont not the T or if you want a quick and quiet car go the Subi (how dare I say such heretical things) but if I was doing it all again with the T, I'd wait for the series 2. Quiet smooth and rattle free the series one T is not. A great performance car with all the associated comfort loss the T is. Mines done 11000klm. I think it's a good car, but I also think that they are somewhat over rated and whoever gave them PCOTY at Motor magazine must have been a distant relative of Henry or married his grand daughter or something. Guest blower Guests Posted 13/01/04 11:14 AM Share Posted 13/01/04 11:14 AM I regret it. Here is a list of my problems which have also been experienced by other writers here. It is, after all, just a warmed over taxi!http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...?showtopic=8036 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8477-are-there-probs-with-the-xr6t/page/2/#findComment-82072 Share on other sites

I think that's it, if you don't mod it it doesn't matter all covered on warranty. Great car its certainly an all rounder Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8477-are-there-probs-with-the-xr6t/page/2/#findComment-82077 Share on other sites
