Hey guys,

Quick query.

I've read that the first thing to do is often to disconnect the battery for a half hour of so to reset ECU/transmission/economy etc.(FG MkII)

If I do this do the settings in the trip computer get reset as well? (litres used, average speed etc)

No real biggie, just wondering.

Hey Raband,

With the B series you needed to have the battery D/c'ed for a few hours I think to reset everything. Not sure how it goes with the F series though.

A 10 minute d/c will reset fuel economy, average speed and pretty much any stored information that you can access from the speedo. I did it the other day with my FG F6.

Cheers,

Dan
