As a bit of an incentive, I am in Canberra so if other Canberra types want to make a pilgrimage to the southside they will not have to pay postage..The colour issue is well on the way to being history, they have thier new batch of paint on the way today, and hopefully this will be the end of the dramas. So come on 4 more people.Just to remind you here is a pic of the gauge.. Guest Basher_tsv Guests Posted 19/01/04 02:38 AM Share Posted 19/01/04 02:38 AM Lads,Just back from the dealer and I have my guage fitted ... very impressed I have a digital camera here at work so will get to it this afternoon and take a pic installed and also with the original panel (next to it) to show the colour difference. I don't mind the slight difference in colour as it seems to highlight the guage and being on a different angle it is not too out of place ... I shall keep an eye on what Guageworks are proposing with the colour fix though (I'll keep an eye on what you find out Zeke! - thanks)I think it must be standard for it to lay in "negative pressure" and then shoot around to about 6psi while under it. Very addictive! Cant see the blue backlight working (with the sun) but will see that tonight!Hope you guys get another order together as it is worth it - good service by Guageworks and a near factory finish ... SWOIT!

All the parts needed were packed, sorted and ready for easy install.Installation itself took me about 45 minutes, and 25 of those was trying to route the pressure line through the dash. It looks easy in theory....Got it all sorted in the end. The instructions are very good, and installation is very easy.My colour match is quite good. Not perfect, it is still a poofteenth lighter in shade, but not enough for me to worry about changing it I think. I dont know if Ford have darkened their colour (I'm a Nov 02 build) but mine is quite acceptible.I'll put up 2 pics, you can see the slight variation in the second one.Great kit though, I'm very impressed. Thumbs up to GaugeWorks! :banghead:
