I have checked all my fittings for leaks, and cant find any, but you cant stick your head in the engine bay when its on 6psi. I am unsure whether I do in fact have a leak at the fitting in the engine bay (how do I find out?), or whether this increased noise is simply due to the extra hose coming in to the cabin, bringing the boost noise with it.Any ideas? Thanks. Matty I noticed this noise when I fitted a boost and blower gauge in my XC, I am using Automoter gauges.Im not overly worried about it. Just hope its the same noise!

Haven't been on boost for more than a short time at any one time. Good excuse for me to look for a suitable hill this arvo - will let you know the outcome if I find one. Maybe the gauge has a mini-BOV?!Cheerszeke
Guest Guests Posted 21/01/04 05:36 AM Share Posted 21/01/04 05:36 AM Hey HUSTLER your just jealous, just imagine how good it looks, the boost gauge sitting there on the dash, with its splash of red ,and the hanging red lantern that comes with it that you hang from the rear view mirror.Very important to keep the fwen shee in balance. Confucious say two men in toilet not necessarily plumbers!vik

Trumpy What's happening? I am starting to think that it is a normal sound, but I am going to give gaugeworks a call anyway just to check. On other news, my colour match may not be as good as first thought, I spent most of yesterday on the road (in direct sunlight) and am now thinking I would like to get it fixed too. I fitted it late in the afternoon when the sun was low, and it looked like a match, but now I'm not so sure...
