Looks perfect at night. Its not as bright as the main cluster, its more in line with the brightness of the ICC controls. It also dims with the instrument dim button.

Well done Trumpy.

Obviously no problems with that colour match. Looks like you're right that Ford might have darkened the colour sometime in late 2002/early 2003 and the colour gaugeworks has been using is the earlier, lighter colour. Hopefully there are only two colour variants out there to match. Certainly, every car I saw on Saturday had the darker shade as in my car.

Any feedback on the minor "sticking" problem I've encountered? - see earlier post. Does yours do anything similar?

Cheers

zeke

Zeke,

I haven't noticed it sticking or anything yet, but I have not had much of a chance to go driving. Only drove to work this morning (about 5 minutes). I'll keep an eye on it his arvo.

It seemed to go around the dial quite easily, so I dont think I have any problems with mine.

Its very addictive watching it as you drive along. Its also amazing how little time these engines actually spend "on boost" in normal day to day driving...

Guys,

Mine does not seem to stick and sits at about 7pm on the dial while driving, anywhere up to 0 while under load and you know the story when I feed it a little. Maybe you do have a sticky spot zeke? Colour is definatley a higher contrast than yours trumpy so perhaps there was a colour change somewhere around then. I wouldn't mind the lights at night to be a little bit brighter than what they are on no-dim and the red arrow could be bright to match the dash but it looks fine and am still very happy :) Sorry about the pics not been able to get the office camera as yet and the beast is at home today (driving the gf's excel) but will try and do it soon.

On other news found an APS dealer in town yesterday ... swoit!

B.

C'mon people's, there must be a few more of you wanting a gauge out there :-)

Okay, you've twisted my arm. I'll grab a 15PSI for an Auto thanks. I'll PM my details. I'm more than happy to wait for the new paint colour.
