All you need is a sucker to organise it, you need 10 orders all paid for at once and sent to the same address, or preferably someone in Melbourne who can pick them up and send them to you saving the group over $50 in postage.Every one has seen the gauges so here is a pic of the Tee connection under the bonnet. Installation looks simple on paper but I have just spent the last 45 mins (unsuccessfully) contorting my body trying to feed the conection through from the gauge down the back of the dash. Any tips, I can't get it to go where it needs to.

It was easy to thread the wire down to the bottom of the dash to the TC swich etc. then I did the same thing between the hole the tube goes into and the slot at the top. Bit of cord from one to the other then direct from the hole the tube goes into to the lower regions of the dash - tape to tube - guide tube thru' - easy.Hope that makes sense - if not, use imagination or ask again. Good luck.ZekeGlad your colour match is perfect - I'd call mine "acceptable".

Looks excellent. Thanks heaps for the organising of getting these things ordered and sent out to us.Just a quick question for the guys that got the 15 PSI gauge. When you turn the car on the needle sits on 15PSI until you give it a boot full then it shoots up to 0 and goes on from there. (My thoughts were it would site on 0 like when the car is switched off) Maybe a pin whould be just below 0 to stop the needle going further down.Still love it though :-)

Surprisingly!!I got the 15psi one, it does certainly look weird, mine sits behind the 15 further back!mines a bit flicky at the moment, cant get it to go smooth through 1-6 , just shoots straight to six! I think I have a kink somewhere! becuase when I pull the unit up and drive it works properly, too dark to see now, so I will have to have a look tommorrow arvo! Also have a real loud shooooshy sound, like a leaking sound now and again!!
XRPhantom Member 173 Member For: 21y 2m 26d Location: NSW Posted 09/02/04 11:28 AM Share Posted 09/02/04 11:28 AM You may not have pushed the small black hose far enough intop the connector on the back of the gauge or on the T-piece. Also make sure your hose clamps are tightened. I have no noise in mine at all. But yes mine does sit just behind the 15 mark aswell. Also maybe grab both ends (one hand near the gauge and the other down where it comes out under the dash) and see if the cable moves freely. Maybe it is snagges on something and pinching the hose.Did you also cut the dash the 20mm as suggested. That seems the most logical place you are having the problem when seating it back into position as you say it is working when you hold it up.Just a few suggestions, hope you get it working correctly soon.Greg :-)
