Tonka100 Member 10 Member For: 11y 9m 20d Posted 23/04/13 12:41 AM Author Share Posted 23/04/13 12:41 AM They remove in 5 seconds for night time driving and the indicators edge is almost clear so with slightly more intense bulb they show up clear as. The tail lights are LED and before you try shut people down SDP they are warrantable items here in NZ and pass all inspections as they are more visible to other road users than standard tail lights. Maybe you need to do your home work before making stupid negative comments.......

Not LED tail lights.. Two completely different things.. I read that as someone who decided to take to their tail lights with a tin of night shade or 5% film.. I still don't agree with the head light covers.. But that's my opinion.. You do whatever you want to your car mate.. NZ has very different motoring laws to Australia though.. In Australia removable cover or not you'd be booked for those head light covers in a heart beat. And as with everything else that Australia does NZ copies eventually so once our NCOP for motor vehicles is more widely accepted you will start getting bitten in the arse by it over there.. Thinking of doing in matt black or matt silver so its descret and does not jump out at you. My FG has black mags and the head and tail lights blacked out as well.
