AzzAc28 Member 3 Member For: 11y 7m 5d Posted 16/04/13 01:27 AM Share Posted 16/04/13 01:27 AM I've just recently purchased a BF XR6T, and have a problem with the DSC or Traction control. When I press the button to turn it off, no lights appear on the dash, but it detects when the wheels are loosing traction and the light flashes on and off.. so my guess is the traction control is permanantly on, no matter if I press the button to turn it off. Is there anything I can do to rectify this or do I have to get it looked at ?

I can turn off DSC by holding the button in for a few seconds (the light comes on the dash). But I've found that if I flaw it from stand still, the TCS still kicks in - well I assume that's what it is. It seems to cut out when the wheels start to spin. I'm not sure if this is something more sinister, but I've found that if I boot it hard in a situation where the wheels wouldnt spin - eg at 60 - 80 ks and the engine seems to have the same sort of load, it's fine. (I hope that makes sense). It almost feels like the TCS wont turn off - even though the dash says it is.
