Loose Flywheel Bolts

ive just had to tow my car back to mechanic with the same issue

its only done 2000km since clutch/flywheel install

mal wood opt5 with all the extras(arp bolts,allow csc,remore bleed)

waitng to here back from him tomorrow

There is a procedure to bolting the flywheel and loctiting it. If its not followed the flywheel can come loose. Also chances are the crankshaft and the rear of the flywheel will be damaged.

that's your Silver F6 you bought from Nizpro.

I used to vibrate loose the flywheel bolts off Expensive Daewoo 202s.

The solution that worked was 4 extra 10mm allen key bolts. A total of 10 bolts and the cast flywheel never budged after that.

I then went with an alluminium flywheel with just the 6 stock bolts and surprisingly never ratted it off with500+ ATW. The ally helped with the harmonics.

I dont like the how the fords just use a flat backed flywheel. I think a step in the back of the flywheel to hug the back of the crank would help heaps, like on the Expensive Daewoo 202s but needs to be an interfearance fit for that to work well.
