hey peoples, car has developed a shudder on take off when driven for the first time in the morning etc (6sp manual), once warm the shudder goes away. im assuming its from the clutch and may need new fluid and bleeding??

I decided to hop under car and inspect for any leaks etc but found none and clutch reservoir is full but fluid looks a bit yucky. I also had a look under while car was running and at the gear box there is air coming out of a couple of spots.... im guessing its normal but have attached pics of the spots to make sure.

cheers

Hi Finney. How are you. Mine did the same at the moment I'm still working on it. I'm no expert but most people on this forum think I am. Diff bushes or rear wheel hub and or tail shaft centre bearing. I put my money on tailshaft centre bearing.

Shudder will be from the clutch. Likely cause by buildup on the flywheel or pressure plate/or warpage of the flywheel or pressure plate that evens out a touch when warm.

The air holes on the gearbox are normal.
