According to microcat 01/06/2006 BF Turbos sedans have now superseded to a FG tailshaft Part number BG 4K145K and list a centre bearing separate Part number BAF 4800 A list price $234.19 + GST.

Looking at the ford workshop manual you remove the uni joint and there should be a nut holding the yoke on. Hopefully this helps you

Benny and where will I find a 1310 bearing?

Rootster, I work for a bearing mob, you want me to chase one up?

Should be faily cheap, they aren't heavy duty. Wouldn't last long at all if your tailshaft is out of balance. If you cut the old one in half, clean it and post pics I can tell you if the shaft is causing you issues. . . . . if the housing design wasn't so weak.

Car was on the hoist again today..This is the problem I face...I cant separate tail shaft it has a universal joint crimped in place and even if I force uni out what will hold it when I refit it.....no sign of any circlips inner or outer...So even if I buy a bearing I can't fit it...Rung ford they told me I need a new tailshaft at a price of $1200+

more than likely a press fit, you will need a bearing puller and a fire.

aftermarket tailshaft would be cheaper

Another option would be an aftermarket housing and a cooper split bearing
