Does anyone one know if you can buy an FG sedan centre bearing on its own..Its a two piece shaft and joined using a universal joint not a cv..I had it on the hoist today and cant find any sort of circlips holding the universal joint in place..Please don't tell my I have to buy a complete new tailshaft...Ford can't be that silly can they?

According to Microcat the FG is a complete tailshaft no components are serviced. But for some reason if you go in to the BA/BF catalog some late BF's use a FG tailshaft which you can buy a centre bearing for. What type of FG do you have I might be able to find a genuine part number for you that might work.
