Posted 12/04/13 08:52 AM Share Posted 12/04/13 08:52 AM If the applicator gets dirty it will need washing so you will need more than one. Dont be cheap!!! Your black car will hate you for it. As I said Ultimate compound finishes down really quite well so you would get no extra benefit from swirl remover. Everyones technique is different but generally its not needed. I would spend the money on a Random Orbital machine as the time saved alone makes it worth it. You will need multiple days to do it by hand.As for waxes, Ioncoat Naviwax is really good and a great deal although wont be back in stock for a few weeks. P21s, Collenite, Dp all do some decent products for reasonable prices.

So I suggest the Meguiars swirlX.. I also use that and get very good results.. here is photo of that product for you help..

To put this in perspective most of our cars are worth between 40-70k, and a RO plus some product would set you back a few hundred dollars, not to mention the endless list of other advantages (time, results, etc). Not trying to be a smart-ass, just trying to save you a lot of hassles
