Posted 08/04/13 10:45 AM Share Posted 08/04/13 10:45 AM Dont use paper towels sct911, use a microfibre applicator. You will probably find you need more than once pass with ultimate compound to get a decent result. Doing things by hand is slow and tedious.2 small blobs, pea sized, is enough to do a sq foot area or so with machine so should be good by hand as well. Work in small areas.Ultimate compound finishes down pretty well so you may find you dont need the swirl remover afterwards. You will need a cleaner type product like Carpro Eraser or a 20% Isopropyl Alcohol water mix to cleanse the panels of polish. Once your done get yourself a decent wax to protect the paint, not megs nxt tech or any of that junk something from a dedicated car care supplier like Waxit or CCP. Also my cars black. , that's why I was wanting to purchase swirl remover. What wax do you use and recommend ?
