Keep in mind, lift and lobe sep also play a part. It's not just duration.

I was considering atomic stage 4 but I was comparing them to the crow 591 cams and crow seem to have a slighty bigger duration and wider (113) lobe centers which would give it a lumpier idle. I couldnt care how thirsty it is it only gets driven on weekendsnooo I love u more

Mr_4.0 Member 1,096 Member For: 13y 9m 21d Posted 05/04/13 11:11 AM Share Posted 05/04/13 11:11 AM On the other hand, the atomic stage 4+ cams are douphased. Will get the power of the stage 4 cams but with near stock engine vac. But you won't get the lumpy idle your after.

Mr_4.0 Member 1,096 Member For: 13y 9m 21d Posted 05/04/13 12:31 PM Share Posted 05/04/13 12:31 PM (edited) Actually I just checked the atomic site. The stage 4 cams are duophased now as well. Also looking at the specs, the 4+ will be a bit lumpy. Even with the staggered valve timing. The 4's could almost sound stock. Pretty sure a mate down here has 4's in his turbo ute. I'll try get a video. Edited 05/04/13 12:42 PM by Mr_4.
