Furious Trans Cooler Kit

Trying to find out which kit to go for. They have advertised two kits one for 330 and a turbo kit For 850 which has fan and braided lines. Just trying to get some more pics on the cheaper option Cooler kit mounted behind fog light.

Is the whole kit complete and is the hose diameter the right size

As I have heard ratter (pitlane) say that these need to be thicker to help with line pressure.

I know jet and the guy from mackay have these kits installed, if you guys could chime in and tell me if anything else is needed For installation it would be much appreciated.

Mick has a very good point and I also heard some facts to what has been said about maintaining diameter but there are at least 20 blokes buzzing around little old sa with the $330 kit installed with 100% success so far

Mine afaik has the largest amount of kms and all is fine

im another one that just got the $330 kit after reading about milkshakes and front mounted it like j@ infront of my pw stage 2 cooler, but I made custom brackets cause im not a rough *beep* like some haha... everything I needed was in the kit minus the brackets and some thick foam tape so it didnt rub on the cooler.

Some dont like the front mounted idea infront of cooler due to heatsoak but I ran up 410rwkw on 1 dyno before it then ran up 400kw on another dyno after it on a hotter day so in my mind the loses are very minimal.

Thanks for the replies, have been tossing up whether to go with the furious cooler kit or the new pwr heat exchanger. If I go with the furious kit I am wanting to put it behind fog lights so in winter I am hoping it will act a little like a heat exchanger and get up to temp quicker as it gets quite cold where I live.

I am not sure about overheating though in normal driving conditions with fog lights installed as summer also gets quite hot 40+ degree days. I know the fog light can be taken out but I quite like the look of them installed.

100% success rate sounds good so furious kit is looking good and the only way ill know is to try it.

I personally would wait for some feedback on the pwr exchanger, it could be a good thing and easy install

True, would hate to buy trans cooler kit and end up having to go with pwr in the end, would start getting pricey.

From what I have heard a cooler is a VERY bad idea in high heat high traffic times. I have actually been talked out of fitting one by my tuner due to experiences they have had with external coolers and ZF's failing. I think the PWR option is the only real safe option at this point in time.

Have done 12 months now and 25000ks with my external cooler, including some heavy stop start traffic with ambient temps near 40 degrees.

I am also running a Martini/Lifeguard 6 fluid mix.

No problems at all.
