Happy Easter all. Anyway went on an Easter cruise today. Did a few third gear pulls then out of no where car vibrated when I accelerated an threw out some white smoke. Also thought I heard some rattling. To scared to put my foot down now. 1st and 2nd seem fine. Could it be over boosting majorly?? When it vibrated felt like the power was restricted. Cheers

Could be valve springs too.

Mine has nizpro valve springs which seem to have turned into rubber or foam recently.

On a handful of occasions I've experienced similar issues as yourself. I'd be in third cruising and plant it, then when I grab forth the car will carry on and misfire for a few seconds until the engine seems to reset itself back into the correct positions and drive normally again.

Just spoke to my tuner and he said to bring it down when I can as he couldnt specify over the phone what it was. Anyone have any other idea? dont want to be driving the car around if it something serious.
