If he "did some work" it would have come dyno sheets as a minimum. Or it would be running like chit.

I bought bought it from a dealer in hastings and that's all they told me. It runs fine, just spools really loud and the exhaust rattles like hell. I spoke to Mick at Pit Lane performance as well. He believes it might not be stock. Will be booking it for a service and a check up soon.

I spoke to him last week and he wants me to book the car in for a service and a check over. I have a dyno print out that I showed him and he said it looks fine. Its An xr50 in nitro. All I know is the previous owner traded it in on a GS ute.

Nah dont have a boost gauge unfortunately. I think it should be fine because it had a full service and road worthy before I bought it 2 months ago.

Sorry to thread hi-jack!!!!

Is the size of the compressor wheel the only difference between the stock fg xr6 turbo and the f6 turbo?

Has anyone replaced the fg gt3576 with the gtx3576?

Looks like my stock turbo is going to be maxxed out with the next round of mods. If I have to port/flapper/actuator mod it, may be worthwhile upgrading.

Not keen on increasing lag with the f6 turbo or the gtx3582r. Would be happy with a reliable 350-380 rwkw.
