Didnt have to bed in. Install and drive. The bendix have the Fibre Impregnated Rubber Steel shims too, to keep them quiet. Always had a vibration/humming sound when braking with my HPX pads and DBA slotted rotors. Bendix dont have these problems as yet. My experience only.
